The Morning

about us

We create a world with human connection & mindful eating

The Morning is a momentary breakfast experience and a joyful celebration of human connection. We are a constantly evolving platform for sharing ideas, storytelling and community building. We create & cook our menu whilst introducing you to inspiring guest speakers and amazing locations.

Based upon giving to one another, sharing with one another and caring for each other, we create moments where we sit and eat together, taking the time to give each other attention and think where our food comes from. We believe that the most intimate connections happen when you share a meal.

About us.

In 2016, Edwin (Chef & Founder) started The Morning with the intention to cultivate human connection, celebrating life and supporting people in remembering where our food comes from. He took his experience as a professional chef in various Michelinstar restaurants to The Morning Breakfast, where he celebrate the origin of our food. In the past 40 editions he brought thousands of people together at the table.

In 2020 Chantalle and Edwin started The Morning Circle together, in which we turn our gaze even more inwards in ceremony. To experience a deeper connection with yourself, nature, each other and All-that-is.

As ambassadors of the Maya women's collective Ruk'u'x Ulew from Guatemala, we work with the plant medicine cacao in ceremonies, among other things. With her extensive experience in music, sound, singing, teaching meditation, yoga, and other forms of shamanic healing, Chantalle lovingly guides the rituals in the ceremonies.

Morning Breakfast

The Morning Breakfast is a farm-to-table experience and a joyful celebration of human connection.

We bring our kitchen right to the source - setting our long table in fields, orchards and gardens where the meal's ingredients were harvested.

Our aim is to reconnect people to the origins of their food while celebrating and honouring the land of mother Gaia.

We create & cook our menu whilst introducing you to artist, chefs and farmers.

Mindful exercises, meditation, breathing, drinking ceremonial cacao, sound journey, journalling, yoga, philosophy and a nourishing brunch aim to provide guidance, grounding, and connection with yourself, nature and the ones around you in an ever-changing world.
